Stephen Meeks was born and raised in Texas. He is the president and founder of Educators Advantage Group and College Service Center. He is married to his wonderful wife and business partner, Gayle. Having grown up in an educator household, Stephen has seen firsthand the satisfaction that comes from imparting knowledge to others and the empowering effect knowledge can have. With this philosophy in mind, Educators Advantage Group was designed to be an education based financial services organization.
Stephen is a US Navy veteran having served as a tactical strategist leading 8 to 10 man teams specializing in Air, Surface, Subsurface Warfare and Search and Rescue. He served during the Cold War, Desert Shield and Desert Storm. While serving, education for his team was a key foundation. During his tenure his teams had over a 95% passing rate on required qualification exams. One of the highest passing rates of the command.
After fulfilling his active duty obligations, he transferred to the Naval Reserves and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Diego State University. While enrolled at SDSU, he found internships with Prudential Securities, investment banking firms and CPA’s honing his academic knowledge with real world experience.
Along with his finance degree, Stephen has an extensive background in Molecular Biology and upon graduation, entered the biotech/medical industry developing strategies for startups to expand territory and market share increasing growth rates for companies by 200%.
Stephen has 19 years of experience in accounting, financial services and business development. Over the past 9 years he has taught hundreds of financial seminars on topics from Stock Market History, Economic Theory, College Planning, Social Security Strategies, Safe Money Strategies and other financial topics at local colleges, private groups and community organizations. Having a series 65 license Stephen is required to uphold a fiduciary level of financial planning, Stephen is an investment advisor representative and a Registered Financial Consultant, RFC©. He also went on to complete his coursework for the Certified Financial Planner Designation through the University of Texas System. He is a Certified College Advisor, a Member of the National Institute of Certified College Planners and a Member of the Financial Planning Association .
He is a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Foundation and on the weekends you can find him with his bible study group and on the sidelines, cheering for his family’s various sporting activities.

Gayle Meeks was born in Munich, Germany as an Army brat and raised in Texas. She is the co-founder of Educators Advantage Group and College Service Center. Having grown up in Texas for most of her life, she has a big heart for helping. She finds joy in helping families, schools, teachers, high school students, and the community through her work.
Gayle has 17 years of experience in financial services, insurance and business development. She is securities licensed having passed her series 6/63. Gayle is also a 403b/457 certified professional and a member of the Financial Planning Association. Over the past 9 years, Gayle has been a speaker for financial seminars from topics such as Retirement Strategies, and College Planning to identifying areas where families are unknowingly losing money.
She started out in a medical career and learned business strategies from a foundational level helping medical practices develop from start-ups to thriving businesses. In 2006, feeling called to stay in a field that helped others, she decided to switch professions from the medical field to the financial services industry. Gayle is keenly aware that finances aren’t just about numbers. On the contrary, finances are emotional. It’s important to her to help people find the right balance with their finances that suits them both emotionally and mathematically.
Gayle is the mother of two busy kids. On the weekends, you can find her enjoying her bible study group, playing with her two dogs, on the sidelines of a soccer game, or in the stands of a basketball game cheering on her kids.
